Subsidised Vaccinations

Vaccinations Available at Our Clinic

BOOSTRIX VACCINATION (DTP)

  • Provides protection against diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis (whooping cough).
  • It is recommended for those above 10 years and older.
  • It is recommended for pregnant women in their third trimester.

HEPATITIS A VACCINATION (HAVRIX)

  • Provides protection against hepatitis A that can cause liver disease due to ingestion of contaminated food and drinks.
  • It requires 2 doses taken at 6-month interval.

HEPATITIS B VACCINATION (ENGERIX)

  • Hepatitis B is spread from person to person through blood, semen or other body fluids resulting in serious liver disease such as liver inflammation, liver failure and liver cancer.
  • The vaccination consists of 3 doses taken at 0-, 1- and 6-month intervals.

TWINRIX VACCINATION

  • This vaccine consists of both Hepatitis A and B vaccination.
  • It consists of 3 doses taken at 0-, 1- and 6-month intervals.

PREVENAR 13 VACCINATION

  • Provides protection against invasive disease, pneumonia and acute otitis media caused by 13 strains of Streptococcus Pneumoniae.
  • It is recommended for infants above 4 months old and adults above 65 years old.
  • It is also recommended in younger adults with certain medical conditions.

CHICKEN POX VACCINATION

  • Provides protection against chicken pox infection in those above 12 months’ old.
  • It consists of 2 doses:
    • 12 months old to <13 years old – 2 doses taken at 3-month interval.
    • >13 years old – 2 doses with the second dose taken at 4 to 8 weeks from the 1st dose.

PNEUMOVAX 23 VACCINATION

  • Provides protection against serious infection caused by 23 types of Pneumococcus bacteria
  • It is recommended for all adults above 65 years of age.
  • It is also recommended for those who are below 65 years with certain medical conditions.

MMR VACCINATION

  • Provides protection against Mumps, Measles and Rubella in those 12 months of age and older.

GARDASIL 9 VACCINATION

  • Provides protection for individuals age 9-45 years old against diseases caused by 9 strains of Human Papillomavirus such as cervical, vagina and vulvar cancers (in females), anal cancer, oropharyngeal cancer, and genital warts (in both males and females).
  • Doses required:
    • 9-14 years old requires 2 doses at Month 0 and the 2nd dose at 6 to 12-month interval.
    • >15 years old requires 3 doses at 0-, 2-, 6-month intervals.

DENGVAXIA VACCINATION

  • Provides protection against Dengue Fever for those age from 12-45 years old.
  • However, it is not recommended for individuals who do not have prior Dengue fever infection.
  • It consists of 3 doses taken at 0-, 6- and 12-month interval.
